Why
would you seek to use the services of TTG’s consultants?
Many people take pride in the fact that they are financially aware of current products and have faith in their abilities. Usually these investments tend to be typical examples, equities, mutual funds, bank deposits and insurance. Some people enjoy following the markets and feel they understand what is happening.
However, people in this category tend to be in the minority. The majority tend to invest in situations they feel safe which generally means bank deposits and maybe some equities.
Success in financial planning is not to put ‘all your eggs in one basket’ rather than diversify into various investments. However there must be some correlation and balance to the overall picture, otherwise there could be problems. For example you wouldn’t wish to have all your money invested in equities (too risky!) or all in property (too illiquid).
Where we can help is by simply assessing your current position and checking to see if your finances are well balanced. It is important to seek wholly impartial advice and information. We at TTG are wholly independent financial advisers. We are not owned by any institution, we have no special relationships with fund managers and product providers and recommendations are made based purely on the suitability for a client’s personal situation based on their attitude to risk and return.
All our consultants are fully qualified and authorised by the Securities and Futures Commission in Hong Kong (SFC). The company takes great pride in the quality and professionalism of our consultants and have a rigorous on-going training programme to ensure that our high standards are maintained.
We can also help with explaining the dearth of new products and funds that are increasingly available to investors. We can explain in simple language the benefits and suitability of these products and funds.
There are many financial institutions offering products and services and they tend to fall into two ‘camps’. The independent financial advisers and ‘tied agents’. TTG are independent meaning that we offer the client advice and will research all available products in the market place to select the most appropriate for the client’s needs.
On the other hand tied agents are employed by an insurance company and are only able to offer products marketed by their employers. This tends to be more of a selling situation rather than offering sound financial planning.
The insurance agent must still carry out a financial needs analysis to ensure that there is a need, but is stymied by the lack of scope that they can offer.
We at TTG look to build long term relationships with clients by offering sound on-going financial advice to ensure that whatever goals an investor want’s to achieve are realised.
All TTG consultants must act in accordance with the regulations as laid down by the Securities and Futures Commission. We are obliged to carry out a financial needs analysis before giving impartial and appropriate advice. This will ensure that any subsequent recommendation is relevant to a client’s needs and is sympathetic to their attitude to risk and return.
